I have to go to school but I really don’t want to go because some people in my class are so chatty and have no manners ,with all of that the noise levels go up and the teachers get annoyed.

I find this so annoying because I try my hardest and I know every day they will act the same .

Today I really hope people behave good but I feel like that won’t happen.

    Ashley ,

I can understand how people in your class chatting would annoy you especially when you are trying hard to listen and work.

Are they chatty in every class or does it depend on the teacher ?

I have to admit I talked too much in class but I would be quiet when the teacher asked everyone to be quiet.

What is your favourite lesson and why?

What is something you like about going to school?

    Quirky

    Hi Ashely

I hear your frustration. My son's who's finishing year 7 this year experiences the same frustration. Wondering if you've considered speaking to your year level co-ordinators for next year or getting your parents to speak to them. Explaining to your co-ordinators that you excel best when least distracted is a way of actually getting across 2 messages; 1)You want them to put you in a class that's better suited to your needs and you passion for learning and 2)There's a lot of disruption happening within the classrooms which the teachers are failing to manage.

You're fully entitled to an education which best serves you and I can appreciate your level of maturity in wanting exactly that (an education which best serves you).

    Take care of your self

    Hey Ashely,

I get what you mean, there's a row of people who sit behind me in science that will never stop talking, and feel the need to talk very loud as well. Maybe try talking to the teacher and see what they can do? Also as everyone gets older i imagine that they'll start to understand that they should actually listen in order to do well.

    Hope things get better.

I think my teacher might talk to me soon but at the moment school seems busy for my teacher.I really doubt that the boys in my class will stop being so loud, silly and rude and this makes me mad because I try my hardest to be good .The boys always spoil everything in my class which makes me not want to go to school at all but I end up going to school.

School today really is going to be bad we have good subjects on but I know all the boys are going to be silly, chatty and rude I try to ignore these boys but its hard to .I really wish these boys could be good behaved.

I have sport today and I don’t want to do it we have to do the beep test and last week I was exhausted after it .Today I don’t want to do it because we have to do basketball straight after and at the end of the day I have swimming.I know I’ll have to do it but I don’t feel ready to do all that sport.

With all the behaviour I don’t want to go to school but I do end up going because I don’t want them to stop me from learning.

    Hi Ashely

Wondering if it's possible to sit more toward the front of the class so you're closer to the teacher, in order to avoid as many distractions as possible getting in between the 2 of you. Sometimes this can be hard when the teachers move around the classroom as they teach. By the way, teachers love students who are invested in learning so I imagine your teachers love you.

Both my kids hated the beep test.

    Take care Ashely
