Hi, I was wondering if anyone had any advice on getting rid of feelings of inadequacy/insecurity and pessimistic views in new friendships and meeting new people.

When I meet new people I seem to get along with, the thought burgeons that if this person and I get to know each other better, they will grow to dislike me or I will hurt them, unintentionally. Or in a different way, that though this person may think I will be a good friend, I am not going to be able to match up to their energy and positivity.

    Thanks x
