when they notice me

hi i have written several stories before such as Result of a rape, but now i have a new problem at hand.
i recently obtained a boyfriend whom i really love and i hope loves me back. we’ve been together for roughly 2 months now and are as happy as the day we met.
but
all of a sudden a scary number of guys have started talking to me, the’ve started flirting and commenting on my looks and personality.
like one guy who is soo popular and really cute said, “i was noticing you in careers when you sat infront of me, god you’re soo talented and beautiful. you’re so smart grace and i believe any guy would be lucky to have you.”
i was blushing so much and was soo curious as too why he would say such a thing.
then on the next day another guy comes running up to me just as my boyfriend left and said,
“god grace you’re stunning, look you’ve clearly taken my breath away.” i laughed as he had run so fast he was infact gasping for air.
i was so happy when a third guy said practically the same thing. 3 guys from 3 different popularity status’ and all of them soo cute one of them was from the year group ahead of me, i loved how much attention i was getting and even more the fact that it was from the hottest guys.
then a week later i heard it.
i heard the reason why those guys had been so attentive and complimentry.
i was a whore.
a rumour had spread around the school saying i am soo easy just by me a drink and i’ll be on my back.
of course this is wildly false. i am still a virgin and plan to stay that way for a while.

i felt like such an idiot, thank god i didnt even consider leaving my boyfriend for one of those jerks, he truely loves me and told everyone that the rumour is completely false and tracked down who said it.
i can tell you one thing, he had some stern words with them
